OFCOM is the regulatory authority for broadcasting, telecommunications, and postal industries in the UK. It regulates television and radio services from the BBC aimed at UK audiences, as well as telephone, broadband, and postal services. OFCOM's responsibilities include protecting under-18s, avoiding harm, offense, and disorder, and ensuring fairness, privacy, and responsible religious content in broadcasting.
