The school implements a Clean As You Go or CLAYGO policy where students sort their dishes and utensils after eating in the canteen. This helps maintain cleanliness in the school. Following the CLAYGO policy has a positive effect on students as they learn to be cleaner at home by automatically putting away dishes after eating and making their beds. The parents noticed their children learned to do chores more easily.

Andres Bonifacio Elementary School in
Quezon City prides itself of being clean and
orderly. It implements the Clean As You Go or
CLAYGO policy. Everybody in school follows

5. When pupils leave the canteen
after eating, they carry their dishes,
utensils, and glasses to the bussing
table and sort them according to
the proper containers.

6. This way, everybody is helping
maintain cleanliness in school.

pupils. By helping maintain
cleanliness in school, they also
learn to apply it at home.
