Being Charitable
Charity is the act of giving
voluntary and sincere help to others
who are in need. Acts of charity may
take different forms depending on who
needs help.
The help can be the provision of
money, materials, time, or other non-
material help. Some may need food
and shelter; others, advice and
companionship.
When we give from the heart, we
are blessed by God. Being charitable
helps not only the receiver but the giver
as well. Remember that it is important
to share what we have. It brings us joy
and inner peace.
