Obesity rates are increasing rapidly and affecting more children. While lifestyle factors and genetics play a role, corporations like fast food companies and schools share some blame due to marketing of unhealthy foods and eliminating physical education. Preventing further obesity will require awareness, personal responsibility, leading by example, and industry changes.
