With
the
6
Nations
in
full
swing
it
is
hard
not
to
get
caught
up
with
the
rugby.
Although
exhilarating
to
watch
the
idea
of
actually
having
to
play
the
game
can
be
quite
nerve
wracking.
For
most
of
us
rugby
means
a
full
contact
sport,
but
throughout
February
and
March,
the
RFU,
working
with
its
partner
O2,
is
embarking
on
its
biggest
campaign
to
get
England
playing
Touch
Rugby.
Touch
Rugby
is
different;
its
non-‐contact
rule
means
that
there
are
no
scrums,
no
line-‐outs,
no
rucks
and
no
mauls…
In
fact,
Touch
Rugby
is
one
of
the
most
inclusive
sports
available
to
both
men
and
women,
with
a
number
of
health
benefits.
Touch
Rugby
is
about
to
explode
across
the
UK,
with
touch
sessions
springing
up
across
the
country,
giving
youngsters
and
adults
alike,
the
chance
to
get
active
and
have
fun
as
part
of
a
team.
The
RFU
and
O2
already
provide
over
200
opportunities
to
play
Touch
Rugby
at
clubs
across
England
throughout
the
summer
but
in
a
new
drive
to
get
more
people
involved
in
the
sport
they
aim
to
provide
a
further
75
opportunities
at
clubs
and
University
based
O2
Touch
centres
all
year
round.
The
RFU
will
tour
the
nation
bringing
Touch
Rugby
to
various
locations
with
special
O2Touch
events
to
encourage
more
people
to
try
rugby
for
the
first
time
or
rediscover
the
game
if
they’ve
played
it
before.
Joining
O2
and
the
RFU
are
‘The
Untouchables’
a
team
of
dancers,
athletes
and
free-‐running
experts
who
put
on
spectacular
performances
as
part
of
the
Touch
Rugby
awareness-‐raising
campaign.
One
man
backing
the
campaign
is
former
England
World
Cup
winner
Lewis
Moody.
Lewis
is
available
to
chat
about
the
6
Nations
and
England’s
performance,
as
well
as
the
campaign
to
get
the
nation
getting
involved
and
playing
rugby
for
themselves.

“With England in absolutely top shape during this Six Nations
competition, you can be forgiven for getting caught up in
rugby fever.
Although exiting and exhilarating to watch, the thought of
playing such an intense sport can be quite nerve wracking!
I am pleased to say that you no longer need to worry! There
is a gentle alternative that means anyone of any size, age or
shape can get involved.
Joining me now to explain how is a man that knows quite a bit
about rugby and how to be very successful at it... Lewis
Moody, former England captain and world cup winner, welcome
to the show!”
