This document compares daily nutritional values for males and females aged 24 and older. It shows the recommended daily amounts of calories, fat, saturated fat, cholesterol, protein, carbohydrates, fiber and sodium. It also includes two charts, one comparing the average daily values and another showing obesity rates are climbing as many people eat without understanding the nutritional consequences of their food. The author analyzed this data to help people become more aware of their nutrient proportions and ratios for optimal health.
