Note:1.Every natural number , whole number and integer is
rational number.
2.Rational number has either terminating decimal representation or
non terminating recurring decimal representation .
7. Numbers which have finite number of digits after decimal are said
to have terminating decimal representation.
Example:1.345, 45 etc.
Numbers which have infinite number of digits after decimal but repeated
after some fixed interval are said to have non terminating recurring
decimal representation.
Example:1.343434..., 1.222... etc.
8. Numbers which have non terminating non
recurring decimal representation are called
irrational numbers.
Example: √3=1.732....,
