This hiring event is being conducted by the U.S. Chamber ofCommerce Foundation, the Cuyahoga County Veterans Service Commission, andlocal community partners.22 Jun - NOSC Pittsburgh, PA Sailors will participate in the "Its about the WarriorFoundation" Golf Tournament.20-23 Jun - Reserve Sailors from NOSC Cheyenne, WY will be participating withother local military members in the American Veteran Traveling Tribute in thecapital city of Wyoming.21-23 Jun - NAVREG NW RCC will host a Returning Warrior Workshop, which isdesigned to provide information and resources available after deployment, and tohonor Warriors and their guests.   2. 2. FORCE 14 – 21 June 2013The Force Master Chief, Navy Reserve Change of Office will be held at 1000 onOctober 18th, 2013 at the Navy Memorial (Washington, D.C.).History Note. On 24 June 1833, USS Constitution entered drydock atCharlestown Navy Yard in Boston for overhaul. The ship was saved fromscrapping after public support rallied to save the ship following publication ofOliver Wendell Holmes poem, "Old Ironsides."SECNAV Directs Inspection Of All Navy Workplaces. ALNAV 038/13 directsNavy leaders to perform a comprehensive visual inspection of all Departmentof the Navy workplaces to ensure they are free from materials that create adegrading, hostile, or offensive work environment. All inspections must becompleted no later than 28 June, and results reported to SECNAV by 12 July.Application Phase Opening For PCS Orders. The Career Management SystemInteractive Detailing (CMS/ID) application phase for Sailors in theirpermanent change of station (PCS) orders negotiation window will take placeJune 13 - June 25 until 0500.Command Career Counselor. Navy E-Learning on NKO is undergoing anupgrade which has been in progress since February. The last and final portionof the upgrade is set to be complete by Thursday, 8 July. All in progresscourses must be completed by Sunday, 30 June. Courses in progress that arenot complete will be erased with the final system upgrade.NAVADMIN MESSAGE.
