CAREER MANAGEMENT NOTE
As Senior Enlisted Leaders and Commanding Officers, it is our job to ensure Sailors have the tools to
further their careers. Furthermore; it is our job to give credit where it is due but also to hold people
accountable. If Sailors at your commands are not performing to the Navy's standards, annotate it on their
evaluations. Our charge as leaders is to help our Sailors but also to uphold the standards of performance.

enforce the Standards of the Navy!
SENIOR ENLISTED CONTINUATION BOARD ANNOUNCED
NAVADMIN 375/12 announced the 2013 Senior Enlisted Continuation Board which will convene 25 FEB
2013. All E7-E9 with at least three years TIR and over 19 years of active service are eligible for review by
the board. Personnel with an approved retirement request are waived from the board. Personnel not
selected for continuation must transfer to the Fleet Reserve before 30 NOV 2013. Documented
misconduct and substandard or marginal performance will be the primary reasons for which board-eligible

It is imperative that you review your OMPF for continuity and correctness. Remember your record is what
represents you at boards.
DECEMBER APPLICATION PHASE OPENS
(CMS/ID) application phase is open from Dec. 15 through Dec. 25 for Sailors in their permanent change of
station (PCS) orders negotiation window. Sailors may access the site at https://www.cmsid.navy.mil or
from the CMS/ID link at www.npc.navy.mil. Sailors may review open billets in during the application
phase and apply for up to five jobs, either directly using CMS/ID or a Command Career Counselor.
Sailors may log into CMS/ID anytime after the detailer selection phase to view their orders. Sailors can
learn more about CMS/ID from their CCC or by selecting the CMS/ID link on the Navy Personnel Command
website at www.npc.navy.mil.
