Throughout this time, have worked on various tasks across departments as part of a team
assembling and producing a range of components to ensure the quality output of the Velux
window. During this time, have worked to lean manufacturing outputs on quality, efficiency,
delivery, safety and cost; with experience of working within a highly regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
 Produce and assemble components for the production (at height) of 5,000 Velux windows
per week
 Set and operate a range of manufacturing machines , ensuring working order and undertake
total preventative maintenance (TPM)
 Carry out assembly change over, ensuring the correct components are in place for the run
 Undertake quality checks within defined areas to ensure high standards are maintained and
reporting on any issues on safety and cleanliness ‘go, look, see’
 Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to and personal protective equipment is
used appropriately
 Complete ongoing Lean Manufacturing training including safety excellence and 5S ‘sort, set
in order, shine, standardise, sustain’
