Date: June 2006 On external walls of the buildings among a continuous green landscape, EXTREN® Series 500 had been mounted as fiberglass reinforced plastic trellis to wall openings. These trellis have acted as a perfect supportive medium for creeping plants and vines to propagate. Exterior of the buildings in these climber-FRP grilles blankets fused into the surroundings to give a coherent boundless scene of greenery. These green blankets thus blurred out the boundaries between the artificial hard facades and the natural scenery. ® EXTREN Series 500 structural members offer much higher strength than wood trellis, but weigh much less than metal ones. Need not worry about even a tiniest pinch of rust in the middle of the beautiful greens. The weathering resistance offered by the EXTREN® fiberglass structural shapes had made that an excellent choice for this ® application. Lightweightness of EXTREN makes it even better by reducing installation cost. EXTREN® Series 500 supplied in olive green color naturally blended with the background.
