Introduction
● Sentiment analysis iscrucial forunderstandingopinionsandemotionsintext.
● Thereisa gapinsentiment analysis forthe Japanese language.
● This project aims to fill the gap by developing a sentiment classifier using BERT
andPyTorch.
● BERTprovidescontextual understandingforcomplex languages likeJapanese.
● PyTorch enables flexible implementation and training of the BERT model for
accurate sentimentclassification.
MotivationandObjectives
Objectives:
● Develop an advanced sentiment
classifier for the Japanese language by
utilizing the BERT model and the
PyTorch framework.
● Enhance the accuracy and robustness of
sentiment analysis in Japanese by
capturing contextual information,
semantic meaning, and long-range
dependencies in Japanese text.
Motivation:
● The Japanese language presents unique
challenges for sentiment analysis due to its
complex and context-sensitive nature.
● Developing a sentiment classifier
specifically for Japanese text will enhance
our understanding of opinions and
emotions expressed in thislanguage, filling
the existing gap in sentiment analysis tools
for Japanese.
