Nixplay Department Recognition Program
January 2020
Recognition Purpose
To formally recognize which departments within the Nixplay organization for their
outstanding performance and achievement. Nixplay wishes to recognize those
departments that have made significant strides towards:
• Achieving Strategic Goals
• Building a Culture of Community
• Solidify Financial Foundations
• Become a Leader in Accountability & Transparency
Objective
Recognizing the unique skills and contributions of each division is the cornerstone of
this program. At the heart, this program is designed to support a culture the upholds
and aspires to the core values that define the department within the organization. This
award has unique eligibility criteria to ensure that each department has an opportunity
to be considered. All departments within the organization (excluding management) are
eligible.
The departments who are to be recognized will receive the following accolades:
• Cash gift – 1000.00 USD
• Coverage in the Company Newsletter
• “Nixplayers Hall of Fame” – Signage
Qualities
The departments recognized under this program will have made a significant contribution to
the company clearly beyond the scope of the assigned responsibilities and duties as a whole
under one of the following categories:
The contribution should be judged by its impact on productivity, enhancement of the
company’s public image, financial savings, or improved / increased service to a company
constituency.
• We Are Caring
• We Are Collaborative
• We Are Experts
• We Are Good Stewards
• We Are Progressive
Qualities
A nominated department should model many of the following qualities:
• Exceeds expectations
• Perseverance to get the job done
• Responsiveness
• Respectful and friendly, even in times of stress
• Exemplifies and supports the companies mission statements and supports & strives
to achieve the company’s core values.
• Displays creativity and promotes new ideas in procedures and processes, including
innovation that results in cost and / or time savings.
• Takes the initiative to reduce organizational barriers through activities such as
mentoring, volunteering and assisting coworkers.
• Takes initiative to continuously engage in profession self-improvement to meet or
exceed the companies goals and expectations.
Nominee Qualification Process
In an effort to support the organizations “Go Green” initiative, the nomination
process for this program is electronic. The nomination form is located (Insert URL
Here.)
1. How has the department demonstrated exceptional dedication and initiative?
2. What has the “scope of the impact” Nixplay on employees and / or the pubic?
3. How does s/he take initiative to reduce organizational barriers through activities
such as mentoring, voluntarily assisting coworkers and / or participating in cross-
functional activities?
4. How well does s/he work to foster collaboration, communication and cooperation
among peers, management and / or customers.
5. How does the nominee perform at levels above and beyond normal job
requirements?
Selection Process
Nominations for recognition will be made by any staff member, supervisor,
administrator or manager. The completed forms will be forwarded to the Human
Resources department selection committee chair. The committee can include, but is
not limited to a cross-section of staff members and managers (as assigned).
Prior to voting, Human Resources Chair will be the only involved party to know the
nominee’s identity. The Chair will remove the names from the nominations before
sharing them and will not vote with other committee members. Utilizing anonymity will
allow voting committee members to focus on the service or contribution without
attaching identity. Final selections of the committee will then be forwarded to the
HOD and finally the Executive Staff for final review and award.
To ensure recognition of achievements, nominations can be made as soon as possible
after the conclusion of the previous quarters event or activity to which the
achievement is related.
Submission Deadlines
The timeline for submitting nominations are as follows:
• 1st Half of Year: July 1st
- Recognizing Jan – Jun of the same year
• 2nd Half of 2020: Dec 1st
- Recognizing Jun – Dec of the same year

Nixplay Human Resources Committee encourages employee participation and
welcomes all comments and questions in order to enhance and develop the
Employee of the Quarter program. If you have suggestions for additional Employee

Show your appreciation and acknowledge an outstanding employee by nominating a
fellow employee for the Employee of the Quarter program.
Note: All recognition nominations will be submitted to the program chair. Once
nominations are closed, the HOD and / or executive team will choose the person to
move forward in the process from the nomination pool. Once

Nixplay Qtr Recognition Program

  • 1. Nixplay Department Recognition Program January 2020
  • 2. Recognition Purpose To formally recognize which departments within the Nixplay organization for their outstanding performance and achievement. Nixplay wishes to recognize those departments that have made significant strides towards: • Achieving Strategic Goals • Building a Culture of Community • Solidify Financial Foundations • Become a Leader in Accountability & Transparency
  • 3. Objective Recognizing the unique skills and contributions of each division is the cornerstone of this program. At the heart, this program is designed to support a culture the upholds and aspires to the core values that define the department within the organization. This award has unique eligibility criteria to ensure that each department has an opportunity to be considered. All departments within the organization (excluding management) are eligible. The departments who are to be recognized will receive the following accolades: • Cash gift – 1000.00 USD • Coverage in the Company Newsletter • “Nixplayers Hall of Fame” – Signage
  • 4. Qualities The departments recognized under this program will have made a significant contribution to the company clearly beyond the scope of the assigned responsibilities and duties as a whole under one of the following categories: The contribution should be judged by its impact on productivity, enhancement of the company’s public image, financial savings, or improved / increased service to a company constituency. • We Are Caring • We Are Collaborative • We Are Experts • We Are Good Stewards • We Are Progressive
  • 5. Qualities A nominated department should model many of the following qualities: • Exceeds expectations • Perseverance to get the job done • Responsiveness • Respectful and friendly, even in times of stress • Exemplifies and supports the companies mission statements and supports & strives to achieve the company’s core values. • Displays creativity and promotes new ideas in procedures and processes, including innovation that results in cost and / or time savings. • Takes the initiative to reduce organizational barriers through activities such as mentoring, volunteering and assisting coworkers. • Takes initiative to continuously engage in profession self-improvement to meet or exceed the companies goals and expectations.
  • 6. Nominee Qualification Process In an effort to support the organizations “Go Green” initiative, the nomination process for this program is electronic. The nomination form is located (Insert URL Here.) 1. How has the department demonstrated exceptional dedication and initiative? 2. What has the “scope of the impact” Nixplay on employees and / or the pubic? 3. How does s/he take initiative to reduce organizational barriers through activities such as mentoring, voluntarily assisting coworkers and / or participating in cross- functional activities? 4. How well does s/he work to foster collaboration, communication and cooperation among peers, management and / or customers. 5. How does the nominee perform at levels above and beyond normal job requirements?
  • 7. Selection Process Nominations for recognition will be made by any staff member, supervisor, administrator or manager. The completed forms will be forwarded to the Human Resources department selection committee chair. The committee can include, but is not limited to a cross-section of staff members and managers (as assigned). Prior to voting, Human Resources Chair will be the only involved party to know the nominee’s identity. The Chair will remove the names from the nominations before sharing them and will not vote with other committee members. Utilizing anonymity will allow voting committee members to focus on the service or contribution without attaching identity. Final selections of the committee will then be forwarded to the HOD and finally the Executive Staff for final review and award. To ensure recognition of achievements, nominations can be made as soon as possible after the conclusion of the previous quarters event or activity to which the achievement is related.
  • 8. Submission Deadlines The timeline for submitting nominations are as follows: • 1st Half of Year: July 1st - Recognizing Jan – Jun of the same year • 2nd Half of 2020: Dec 1st - Recognizing Jun – Dec of the same year
  • 9. Committee Disclaimer Nixplay Human Resources Committee encourages employee participation and welcomes all comments and questions in order to enhance and develop the Employee of the Quarter program.
