Dr. Emmanuel Moore Abolo presented Nigeria's 2021 economic outlook at an annual accountants conference. He discussed Nigeria's economic journey to 2020, reviewing GDP, inflation, oil prices and production levels. Globally, most economies are projected to recover in 2021 following COVID-19 impacts. For Nigeria in 2021, GDP growth may remain negative until Q3, while non-oil sectors and inflation are expected to improve. External reserves depletion and currency and interest rate pressures are also anticipated to continue through 2021.
