Project Inspire is a childhood health education program implemented at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The program aims to raise awareness about childhood obesity and nutrition among 10-14 year olds through a 5-session interactive nutrition program. Participants learn about nutrition, engage in fitness activities, and cook recipes. Surveys distributed to parents assess family involvement in daily fitness and their child's BMI. This session had 30 participants, all of whom were actively engaged. However, the data showed that only 46% of families are regularly physically active together for 60 minutes per day. While obesity rates are unclear due to incomplete BMI reporting, participants demonstrated a 100% improvement in nutrition knowledge after completing the program.
