The life of us and other people are different. ISY is an international
school in Yangon. Nearby is a small Burmese teashop. Of course there
are many different ways from the people around the teashop to people
who run and learn at ISY. It is easy to see that the teashop owners earn
a living by building their shop out of wood. The people from ISY use
concrete and cement to build business and houses. The teashop people
cannot afford concrete and cement.
Already we have seen some great differences between two worlds.
Clothing is also different. For example, some people just sit around in
long sleeved clothes and pajamas because they have the air con on full

2. blast. The teashop neighbors are different, they have no air con so they
have to adapt by wearing short sleeved clothes.
Life is hard for them. They cannot afford all ingredients to make a
cake or a sushi buffet. Their food is simple.

3. A well cooked pork curry and some tea is usually what they have.
Driving a trishaw is also a job that they do as our friend Khin Hnin Wey
shows us as she carries a student from ISY.
People relay on her job to get to places.
For the teashop people, they are happy they can get enough money to
get food, clothing, and pay off taxes.

4. This is where the trishaw drivers park their transportation. Most of
them have to rent a
trishaw.
Their kids own playground is located beside the teashop. People also
dry their clothes there.

5. People are different in many ways as you just saw. The food, clothing, is
all different. It’s also the place that affects their lives. A person who
lives in a mansion lives differently from someone who live on the street
right?

6. Their place of business is a good place to have a meal. Of course
somebody would stop by for a drink and curry.
