 India is unlikely to ratify the World Trade Organization (WTO)'s trade
facilitation agreement (TFA), even as it has decided to seek a permanent
solution on the food stockholding issue at the coming 10th ministerial
meeting in Nairobi, Kenya, in December.
 The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) might announce liquidity tightening steps
like longer tenure term reverse repos as the central bank had always
wanted call money rates to hug the repo rate, while in recent times on
certain occasions it has fallen much below the repo rate.
SEBI/CORPORATE UPDATES
 Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has cancelled Sahara Asset
Management Company's mutual fund license. As per reports, the market
regulator has directed Sahara AMC not to take any new subscription from
the investors including existing investors in systematic investment plans.It
has also asked them not to levy any penalties on the investors for not
depositing the installments.
 Vide Notification No. 16/2015-20 dated July 28, 2015 Issued by Ministry
of Commerce & Industry, notified amendment in export policy of sawn
timber-addition of ports for export to Nepal.
 Honeywell has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the Elster Division
of Melrose Industries plc, a leading provider of thermal gas solutions for
commercial, industrial and residential heating systems and gas, water and
electricity meters, including smart meters and software and data analytics
solutions for approximately$5.1 billion.

of India introduces Straight Through Processing (STP) in fixed rate LAF
Repo, fixed rate LAF Reverse Repo and MSF operations.
 Vide Notification No. 34/2015-Customs (ADD) dated July 28, 2015 seeks
to levy definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of Compact Fluorescent
Lamps (CFL), originating in or exported from the People s Republic of
China for a period of five years.
