SEBI/CORPORATE UPDATES
 Securities and Exchange Board of India has conducted the first round of
interviews of Forward Markets Commission (FMC) officials, who will be
retained by the former regulatory body after their merger, said sources.
 Clamping down on illegal money raising activities, SEBI today barred 12
entities, including 10 individuals, from the capital market for at least three
years while ordering them to refund more than Rs 5.32 crore.
 Govt to announce interest subvention scheme for exporters soon which
will give encouragement to sectors that have high potential, commerce and
industry minister Nirmala Sitharaman said.
RBI/TAX LAW UPDATES
 Vide MVAT Trade Circular No. 9T of 2015, dated: 01/07/2015 notified
Procedure for e-payment of Maharashtra Tax on Entry of Goods & relevant
provisions for providing e-payment facility for The Maharashtra Tax on
the Entry of Goods into Local Areas Act, 2002.
 DVAT notified Amendment in Delhi Entertainment and Betting Tax Rules,
1997.
 Vide DVAT No. F.12(3)/Fin(Rev-I)/2015-16/DSF-VI/541 dated July 15,
2015 notified that the rate of entertainment tax on payment for admission
in respect of all cinematographic exhibition of films in the National Capital
Territory of Delhi, shall be forty percent with effect from 20th July, 2015.
 Delhi Value Added Tax (Second Amendment) Act, 2015 shall come into
force w.e.f. 15 July 2015.
 Revised Guidelines on Conducting Manual Scrutiny of Service Tax Returns
to come into Operation from 1st August, 2015.
 Vide MVAT Circular No. 11T of 2015 dated- 13.07.2015 notified that VAT
can be levied even on multiple transfer of right to use goods of intangible
nature.
