"Parental Involvement in School Education. The Best Practice Review" is the first final product of the project "SEE-ME Enhancing Parents Involvement in School Education".
See Me: “Inspirational ideas and approaches regarding parentalinvolvement in secondary education”
See ME is a 2-years Erasmus+ project which focusses on strengtheningparental involvement in children’s school careers in secondary educationspecifically for youngsters at risk. To achieve this the project collects bestpractices and will develop and test guidelines for parent involvement as wellas guidelines for teachers regarding the school career of students and theirrole toward parents.
Exploring the Parental Involvement in Learners' Education: A Phenomenological...Rosemiles Anoreg
Parental involvement is the foundation for family-school relationships that empower
parents, improve student academic achievement, and encourage parents to participate in their children’s education. By collaborating, relationships between the family and school are enhanced, resulting in a healthy at-home and at-school learning environments. The study's purpose was to explore based on parents' own experiences and Epstein's idea of six types of parental involvement.

Dear stakeholders, dear colleagues,
The fifth partners meeting for the project Erasmus+ InTheLoop4VET was organized by EVBB and held online on 3rd November 2021.
Partners from Germany, Greece, Lithuania, Spain and Sweden were present at the meeting. PROMEA, our partner from Greece, presented the Digital Tool that is under development. The feedback of the consortium about it was very positive and are eager to test it and possibly bring some improvements in order to make sure that it is fully functional. The Digital Tool is planned to be ready in all six languages by mid-December 2021.
The new project website was then introduced by our German partner EVBB. "intheloop4vet.eu" should be ready by the end of November.
IO2 and IO3 have been completed and the partnership is now working on IO4. You will be able to find final deliverables in all partnership languages very soon on project's website.
’Last but not least, we are going to organise five multiplier events within January 2022.

The project aims to strengthen the ability of adults to efficiently use digital tools as a precondition fot improving their personal and professional life, significantly reducing the tend towards the intergenerational degital divide.
Parents and families have the most direct and lasting impact on children’s learning and development. Parents play a vital role in their child’s cognitive, social and emotional development by engaging as “learning” partners from the earliest age, during the school years and into youth. Increasing the familiarity of parents with school activities can trigger more positive expectations about their children’s education.
In October 2020, the Final conference for the ARIVE project was held. The conference was held in two directions: online and in person, the reason for this for-mat of the conference was Covid-19, so to pre-vent the spread of the epidemic, most partici-pants attended online.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

2. IO3: Empowering parents – a guide to foster a parent-student relationship at
home?
The originally planned IO3: Empowering parents - guide to foster a parent-student relationship at home are made
as a userfriendly PowerPoint presentation that easily can be made to a paper folder. The name is changed to Tips
& Tricks to forster a parent–student relationship at home.
The Tips & Tricks cover a range of important topics, as the sample of pictures below show. Each topic are
presented visually by a number of pictures and raise a number of questions. We hope these many questions will
help many parents to support their children’s development at school and in life in general.
Next activities in the project
- Finalising t h e working guidelines for IO2, O3 and IO4
-Testing the working guidelines for IO2, O3 and IO4
