According to Department of Education Secretary Leonor Briones,
"The Department of Education (DepEd) of the Philippines is a
very strong advocate of freedom of information and is active in
promoting transparency and accountability.”
At San Jose Panlumacan Integrated School practices
being transparency to learners, teachers, parents and to other
stakeholders. Transparency creates openness between to
teachers, learners, parents and other stakeholders because
when a school is more transparent it tend to be more successful.
This type of environment leaves learners, teachers, parents and
other stakeholders feel valued.

The main goal of this Project ICT: Information Communicated for Transparency is to
remove the mystery that can help everyone see why the school does what it does. Being clear with
all the stakeholders about what the goals are and the direction where the school is going to can

other stakeholders, through positive use of communication platforms, to facilitate information
