Gallery No: 105, Milwaukee's newest art gallery, will open in summer 2015 to exclusively feature works by Wisconsin artists. The gallery will represent a diverse selection of artists working in various mediums like wood, glass, fiber, ceramics, and painting. Gallery No: 105 is owned and operated by Jody Alexander, a longtime community arts advocate, and aims to promote local artists and incorporate original art into everyday life.

Milwaukee’s newest addition to the local art gallery scene, Gallery No: 105, will celebrate its grand opening
onWed., June 3. Located in the vibrantVliet Street artist area, Gallery No: 105 will exclusively feature art by
distinctiveWisconsin artists working in wood, glass, fiber, ceramics, jewelry, painting, photography and
mixed media. Gallery No: 105 will represent a diverse selection of artists – male, female, Caucasian,
African-American and Asian – who create unique, handcrafted work with attention to detail and quality
craftsmanship.
Gallery No: 105 is owned and operated by Jody Alexander, a community arts advocate and educator.
Alexander has a long and diverse tenure with the Milwaukee arts community where she has volunteered,
promoted, advocated and implemented arts/educational programming. She has extensive experience
creating and managing workshops, lectures, tours and art installations through her business, Blk-Art,
History and Culture. She is also an enthusiastic art collector and researcher of African-American history.
Alexander has worked with a variety of businesses and organizations to promote the arts in the
Milwaukee community, including:

Gallery No: 105 is the next step in Alexander’s mission to promote local artists and to incorporate original
art into everyone’s daily life. Gallery No: 105 will be open select times during June, July and August
(Mon. &Tue. by appointment;Wed. & Sat., 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m.,Thur. 12:30-7 p.m. and Fri. 12:30-5:30 p.m.).
