Game: HOT SEAT
Instructions:
1.Prepare a board and a marker/chalk
2.Put a chair in front of the board
3.Divide the class into two group A and B
4.Ask one of the students in group A to sit down on the chair (HOT SEAT) and tell not to
see the board
5.Write a vocabulary (having been discussed/familiar with) on the board
6.Ask students in group A (except the one sitting on the HOT SEAT) to give hints/clues
by saying English words/phrases/sentences related to the vocabulary loudly
7.Ask the student on the HOT SEAT to guess the word on the board. When it’s correctly
guessed, he/she will be the winner and may return. Otherwise, it will be repeated.
8.Take turn for group B.
9.Take their scores. The more guessed vocabulary the winner will be.
