GUIDED BY: Mr. RAVISHANKAR M K
WHY???
• Over 1,77,000 people were killed in road accidents 2015
in alone,i.e nearly 16 people die each hour in India.
• 48% among these are due to overspeeding
• As responsible citizens of this country it becomes our
duty to address this issue
PAPERS REFFERED:
• International Journal of Advanced Research in Computer and
Communication Engineering Design of RF based speed control system for
Vehicles
• Automatic Vehicle Control Developments in the PATH Program by Steven E.
Shladover, Charles A. Desoer, Fellow, ZEEE, J. Karl Hedrick.(Stanford University)
• Design and Development of Microcontroller Based Electronic Speed
Governor for Genset/Automotive Engine by Sushant R. Burje
ABSTRACT:
The objective of this project is to reduce the
overspeeding of vehicles. We plan to achieve this by
using the over speed governor, as the vehicle enters
the speed limit zone there will be a transmitter
which sends the signals to the receiver
(Microprocessor) which inturn actuates the
mechanism which is designed in such a way that it
varies the speed limit of the governor corresponding
to the signal received by regulating the fuel flow.
METHODOLOGY: R F TRANSMITTER
RECEIVER
(MICROPROCESSOR)
ACTUATOR
SPEED
CONTROLLER
EVEN THOUGH WE CANNOT CONTROL
HUMAN TENDENCY FOR THRILL OF
SPEED, WE CAN CONTROL MACHINES
WHICH THEY RIDE.
