Letter from the
President
2010 is fast disappearing,
with November already upon
us!
November is Foundation
Month in the Rotary calendar,
and this week we will be
hearing from a young man
who will soon be benefitting
from one of the many
wonderful programs of the
Rotary Foundation.
November and December are
extremely busy times for
everyone in the lead up to
Christmas. If you can't make
it to our weekly meeting,
please do let us know in
advance so we can adjust
catering if need be.
Yours in Rotary service,
Simone

working with
Prof. Imberger
and his online
real-time service
at http://
www.rmso.com.au/ . He has
spoken to 10 Rotary Clubs
this year and would like us to
help expand this out to all
schools, preferably by
funding IT support to teach
schools how to use the RMSO
system.
This Week’s
Meeting
On Wednesday the Club will
vote to adopt the updated
Club Constitution.
Our speaker will be Justin
Hewett, the successful
outbound Ambassadorial
Scholar, sponsored by our
club. Justin is sitting his final
year law exams and will be
applying to Tsinghua
University in Beijing, where
he wishes to do a Masters in
Chinese Law. Justin’s
ultimate aim is to assist the
Chinese people with their
human rights issues.
AGM
Our club's Annual General
Meeting will take place our
regular meeting on December
8th. It is a brief procedure to
elect the officers for the
following Rotary year,
2011-12.
Please consider nominating
for a position on the Board –
President 2012-13, Secretary,

attached to the Bulletin.
Also at the meeting of 8th
December, Bill Hassell will
guide the Club in the actions
which are required to be
taken with regard to the

are required to vote to adopt
the RCFB Charity Fund

Welcome back Claire and
Daniel Forsdyke from their
travels in the UK!
Jane Armstrong has resigned
from the club; with her
appointment as Clinical Lead

found it impossible to attend
any of our meetings or

when circumstances change
for Jane and she is not as
committed as she currently
finds herself, we will be able
to welcome her back into the
club.

Invitation to Charter
You may have received this
invitation a few weeks ago

Please RSVP when you
receive this message with the
