Mental Health
Mental health is the influence I chose to write about . The text explains that healthy relationships have to be formed young in order to have a healthy mentality in the future. Mental health in childhood means reaching developmental and emotional milestones, and learning healthy social skills and how to cope when there are problems, (cdc.gov).There should be positive relationships with teachers, siblings, and especially parents so a good solid bond can be formed.
Mental health can also be affected by the parents situation and stresses. When children grow up in the context of maternal depression, their brain architecture is affected negatively. If the depression begins before birth, it may affect the fetus’s brain development, reduce fetal growth, and increase the risk of premature labor. (Groark C., McCarthy S., Kirk A.).

Psychiatric emergency is any disturbance in thoughts, feelings, or actions that require immediate therapeutic intervention (Stahl, S. M., 2014). The providers approach, attitudes and work environment may escalate the situation and interfere with the quality of care. Certain therapeutic measures can reduce the intensity of the situation and provide a more dignified way for patients to recover from the crisis. It is thus important that the PMHNP understand how to assess patient’s emergency status and address their unique needs while maintaining safety.
Case selected.
Patient is a 25-year-old AA male who presents to the emergency department with psychotic behavior in believing he should kill his mother which led to his attempt to stab his mother. Patient is admitted for inpatient psychiatric stabilization. Patient has a history of schizoaffective disorder and major depression that was managed with use of clozapine 150mg twice a day and Zoloft 100mg daily. Family reported that patient has a history of medication non-compliant and had been on different psychiatric medications in the past but were not working for him. Additional reports by his parents shows that patient had missed several doses of his medication, decompensated and they had notices some changes recently including increase agitation, delusional believes that he is the savior in the family and God had directed him to cast the demon in his mother. Reports also that he had drawn a picture of himself with knives cutting a woman he portrayed as a demon with blood flowing with a man standing to the side, laughing. Patient currently stated that he participates in a meeting with angels from which he gets directives on how to attack his mother which led to his attempt to stab his mother. Because of this, patient was considered dangerous to his mother per admitting physician. Patients symptoms include psychosis, extreme agitation, paranoia, verbal outburst, combative and very difficult to redirect. Patient has no known drug allergies per parents. Verbal restraint was used including letting patient know what will happen if he does not comply, respecting his autonomy, empathetic listening, decrease environmental stimulation, reassure patient that they will be safe, and maintain a safe environment. The patient was given emergency medications including haloperidol lactate 5mg, lorazepam 2mg, and diphenhydramine 50mg all IM for severe agitation and danger to others. To prevent re-hospitalization within 12-24 hour.

Life Span Parenting Project
Children ought to be evaluated when it comes to their entire environment with the inclusion of whatever negative or positive parental influences that could exist, this is according to Group counseling and psychotherapy with children and adolescents. I have learned that one of the most refreshing impacts concerning parents is because mainly we work with their kids who are reaching the adolescent stage in regions of their personal/social, academic success, career development, and realm. Their work comprises of working in intervention and prevention (Denno et al., 2015). Counselors help students like who undergo rough times, for instance, in adolescent and help them in enlightening their skills of resilience to be equipped better in case of hitting tough times in the future.
The adolescent stage is characterized by uneven and dramatic integration of changes that are developmental into the day to day lives of young persons. Simultaneously, teenagers experience growing independence from their families, mood swings, and at times, rapidly increasing sexuality. The tasks of talking to them usually start within the units of the family. Often, as guardians, we tend to view our teens as fragile thus visit our pediatricians or doctors since we see them as people whom to seek advice from regarding both behavioral and physiologic issues (Shechtman, 2017). The ongoing relationship with the pediatrician and the family gives for enough prospects to offer support and guidance that is anticipated as our kids get into and move through the stage of adolescence.
Determinants of Parenting
As we all know, the parent-child relationship has a massive influence on most aspects of the development of a child. When behaviors, parenting skills, and optimal capabilities have a positive effect on the school achievement or self-esteem of a child, there is positive behavior and development on the kids.

(2020) proposes that trauma affects over two-thirds of the American children population; and estimates that one-third will experience numerous, often prolonged, traumas such as child maltreatment (or domestic violence; child neglect; emotional, physical, and sexual abuse. However, extensive efforts to effectively treat and identify the potential negative and long-term impacts of such experiences are lagging far behind; research connecting the longitudinal effects of childhood trauma to the later development of adult pathology expands across multiple professional disciplines (Glass et al., 2020). This raises the question of how these adverse health outcomes are connected to adult behaviors.
More About Trauma
Trauma can affect students in some shape, form, or fashion who experience it. However, most individuals that have not experienced trauma do not process or comprehend that trauma behavior plays a huge role in the life of an adult when it stems from childhood. One misconception is that most childhood trauma topics are viewed as being too sensitive to discuss and should be left behind closed doors, so to speak (Giesbrecht et al., 2010). For example, students who experience childhood trauma are not directly affected; in all actuality, those same students carry that baggage with them in adulthood (Giesbrecht et al., 2010). I think the first place to start is with the right professionals. What better than to use mental health professionals as a resource. They have the knowledge and expertise to provide various resources to assist schools. For example, helping traumatized students have a voice in the classroom to learn; they can give presentations and trainings, do evaluations and testing, participate in consultants about individual children/adults, and they can consult with and provide clinical support directly to teachers (Kanno & Giddings, 2017).

Certain therapeutic measures can reduce the intensity of the situation and provide a more dignified way for patients to recover from the crisis. It is thus important that the PMHNP understand how to assess patient’s emergency status and address their unique needs while maintaining safety.
Case selected.
Patient is a 25-year-old AA male who presents to the emergency department with psychotic behavior in believing he should kill his mother which led to his attempt to stab his mother. Patient is admitted for inpatient psychiatric stabilization. Patient has a history of schizoaffective disorder and major depression that was managed with use of clozapine 150mg twice a day and Zoloft 100mg daily. Family reported that patient has a history of medication non-compliant and had been on different psychiatric medications in the past but were not working for him. Additional reports by his parents shows that patient had missed several doses of his medication, decompensated and they had notices some changes recently including increase agitation, delusional believes that he is the savior in the family and God had directed him to cast the demon in his mother. Reports also that he had drawn a picture of himself with knives cutting a woman he portrayed as a demon with blood flowing with a man standing to the side, laughing. Patient currently stated that he participates in a meeting with angels from which he gets directives on how to attack his mother which led to his attempt to stab his mother. Because of this, patient was considered dangerous to his mother per admitting physician. Patients symptoms include psychosis, extreme agitation, paranoia, verbal outburst, combative and very difficult to redirect. Patient has no known drug allergies per parents. Verbal restraint was used including letting patient know what will happen if he does not comply, respecting his autonomy, empathetic listening, decrease environmental stimulation, reassure patient that they will be safe, and maintain a safe environment. The patient was given emergency medications including haloperidol lactate 5mg, lorazepam 2mg, and diphenhydramine 50mg all IM for severe agitation and danger to others. To preve.

I have learned that one of the most refreshing impacts concerning parents is because mainly we work with their kids who are reaching the adolescent stage in regions of their personal/social, academic success, career development, and realm. Counselors help students like who undergo rough times, for instance, in adolescent and help them in enlightening their skills of resilience to be equipped better in case of hitting tough times in the future.

Simultaneously, teenagers experience growing independence from their families, mood swings, and at times, rapidly increasing sexuality. The tasks of talking to them usually start within the units of the family. Often, as guardians, we tend to view our teens as fragile thus visit our pediatricians or doctors since we see them as people whom to seek advice from regarding both behavioral and physiologic issues (Shechtman, 2017). The ongoing relationship with the pediatrician and the family gives for enough prospects to offer support and guidance that is anticipated as our kids get into and move through the stage of adolescence.

As we all know, the parent-child relationship has a massive influence on most aspects of the development of a child. (2020) proposes that trauma affects over two-thirds of the American children population; and estimates that one-third will experience numerous, often prolonged, traumas such as child maltreatment (or domestic violence; child neglect; emotional, physical, and sexual abuse. However, extensive efforts to effectively treat and identify the potential negative and long-term impacts of such experiences are lagging far behind; research connecting the longitudinal effects of childhood trauma to the later development of adult pathology expands across multiple professional disciplines (Glass et al., 2020). This raises the question of how these adverse health outcomes are connected to adult behaviors.

Trauma can affect students in some shape, form, or fashion who experience it. However, most individuals that have not experienced trauma do not process or comprehend that trauma behavior plays a huge role in the life of an adult when it stems from childhood. One misconception is that most childhood trauma topics are viewed as being too sensitive to discuss and should be left behind closed doors, so to speak (Giesbrecht et al., 2010). Pharmacology of Drugs for Congestive Heart Failure
Congestive Heart failure is caused by low cardiac output and high sympathetic discharge. Diuretics reduce preload, ACE inhibitors lower afterload, beta blockers reduce sympathetic activity, and digitalis has inotropic effects. Newer medications target vasodilation and myosin activation to improve heart efficiency while lowering energy requirements. Combination therapy, following an assessment of cardiac function and volume status, is the most effective strategy to heart failure care.

Gastrointestinal Infections
GASTROINTESTINAL INFECTIONS result from the ingestion of pathogens that cause infections at the level of this tract, generally being transmitted by food, water and hands contaminated by microorganisms such as E. coli, Salmonella, Shigella, Vibrio cholerae, Campylobacter, Staphylococcus, Rotavirus among others that are generally contained in feces, thus configuring a FECAL-ORAL type of transmission.
Among the factors that lead to the occurrence of gastrointestinal infections are the hygienic and sanitary deficiencies that characterize our markets and other places where raw or cooked food is sold, poor environmental sanitation in communities, deficiencies in water treatment (or in the process of its plumbing), risky hygienic-sanitary habits (not washing hands after major and/or minor needs), among others.
These are generally consequences (signs and symptoms) resulting from gastrointestinal infections: diarrhea, vomiting, fever and malaise, among others.
The treatment consists of replacing lost liquids and electrolytes (drinking drinking water and other recommended liquids, including consumption of juicy fruits such as papayas, apples, pears, among others that contain water in their composition).
To prevent this, it is necessary to promote health education, improve the hygienic-sanitary conditions of markets and communities in general as a way of promoting, preserving and prolonging PUBLIC HEALTH.
Gastritis and Gastric Health
Gastric Health is one of the most relevant concerns in human health, with gastrointestinal infections being among the main illnesses that affect humans.
Among gastric problems, we have GASTRITIS AND GASTRIC ULCERS as the main public health problems. Gastritis and gastric ulcers normally result from inflammation and corrosion of the walls of the stomach (gastric mucosa) and are generally associated (caused) by the bacterium Helicobacter pylor, which, according to the literature, this bacterium settles on these walls (of the stomach) and starts to release urease that ends up altering the normal pH of the stomach (acid), which leads to inflammation and corrosion of the mucous membranes and consequent gastritis or ulcers, respectively.
In addition to bacterial infections, gastritis and gastric ulcers are associated with several factors, with emphasis on prolonged fasting, chemical substances including drugs, alcohol, foods with strong seasonings including chilli, which ends up causing inflammation of the stomach walls and/or corrosion. of the same, resulting in the appearance of wounds and consequent gastritis or ulcers, respectively.

Pharmacology of 5-hydroxytryptamine and Antagonist
5-hydroxytryptamine or 5-HT or Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that serves a range of roles in the human body. It is sometimes referred to as the happy chemical since it promotes overall well-being and happiness.
It is mostly found in the brain, intestines, and blood platelets.
5-HT is utilised to transport messages between nerve cells, is known to be involved in smooth muscle contraction, and adds to overall well-being and pleasure, among other benefits. 5-HT regulates the body's sleep-wake cycles and internal clock by acting as a precursor to melatonin.
It is hypothesised to regulate hunger, emotions, motor, cognitive, and autonomic processes.
