Software Development Engineer in Test - Based in Reading, Berkshire
The Development Engineer in Test is responsible for technical contributions supporting development
with a focus on quality deliveries. In Platform development, the role designs, implements, tests and
delivers OS and common software foundation layers for Clearswift products.
• Experience building OSS for both Linux and windows platforms
• Strong bash scripting skills and familiarity with other scripting languages
• Experience of the Linux install process and day-to-day Linux administration at the command line
• Capable of diagnosing and fixing Linux networking issues at the command line
Junior Infrastructure Engineer – Based in Reading, Berkshire
The Clearswift IT Support team is responsible for providing internal desktop, network, voice and back
office support to Clearswift users on the Clearswift corporate suite of products. Due to continued
growth of the business we require an additional Support for our in-house IT Services Department who
support our Global Operation. As part of a specialist team you will provide support to our 5 regions
Australia, Japan, USA, Germany and the United Kingdom.
• Hardware – DELL / HP
• An understanding of security & networking technologies
• Applications skills IIS, SMTP/Mail-servers, Windows server + desktop Operating Systems , Linux
Platform
• Security – Understanding of IT security concepts
• Network – Patching, knowledge of TCP/IP
