This document describes Nest Maker and NC Maker software for shipbuilders. Nest Maker allows users to import DXF parts, arrange them by thickness and material, optimize nest layouts, and generate reports. It uses a client-server architecture with a database. NC Maker allows importing nests from Nest Maker or DXF files, creating cutting and marking routes, simulating the cutting process, and generating NC programs and reports. Both applications can work together or separately and support common NC codes and cutting machines.
