2. A 35 years old female pt. presented to the
O.P.C. for surgical consultation after doing
arthroscopy, during her pre-op. routine
investigation, the radiology technician
doing for her chest X-ray noticed swelling
in the neck and advised her for surgical
consultation and she presented for this.
3. By examination, the pt. is quite good with
no symptoms or signs of endocrinopathes
and there is multinodular goiter in front of
the neck.

10. 25 years old female presented with rt.
Sided neck swelling that is anatomically at
the site of upper and middle deep cervical
L.Ns of few months duration.
There is history of loss of wt. with night
sweats and fever.
On examination, the L.Ns are discrete,
firm and 1,2 cm. in diameter.

of one week age, she noticed that there is
a torticollis and if she tried to straighten
the head he cried and distressed.
On examination there is a lump at the
middle of lt. Sternomastoid muscle,
fusiform along the long axis of the muscle,
smooth surface, tender and 2 cm. in
diameter.

Physiotherapy by manipulation for long
time to stretch the fibrous muscle. If
failed, incision of the muscle at its distal
end (not proximal to avoid injury of
accessory n.) and not excision.
