award' of 2010. Of this, the discovered her skill for writing music, and
finally in 2012 she dropped her first album, 'The Next Step' which portrays
stories of how she came to fame and what should we expect from her in
future. Her predictions for the future delivered, when she released her
debut album 'Oscar Winning Tears' which she has spent the last ten years
creating and perfecting. Now, Rose is one of the most successful artists of
her generation.

• The music video is targeted towards 16–25-year-old media and upmarket media literate
audiences. Which means the content much be appropriate for people ages 16 and over.
• The music video is following Andrew Goodwin's ideology of the music, lyrics, and
visuals linking to one another. The visuals follow the storyline of the lyrics and the genre of the
music.
• The style of the artist is sophisticated, blues, jazz, drama, flowers and slightly angry.
• I took inspiration from Sabrina Carpenter who followed the themes of a retro email
layout throughout her website to fit the lyrics of one of her songs 'Emails I can't send'.
• My artist will be called 'Rose' fitting with her genre, but also adds personality.
• The songs I will use is 'Oscar Winning Tears' by RAYE.
• On the website it will be made known that the artist wishes to approach social issues and
addresses them in her music. This will portray the artist as confident in her opinions and may
make her more interesting to listen to.

• The narrative will follow a couple arguing and watches themselves
through another perspective, making them realise they need to break

themselves on the screen. This alternate reality tells the story of them
leaving each other which shocks the original couple, but they eventually
follow the same fate.
