Enduring Understanding: Virginia has abundant natural resources. Lots of jobs
and other activities in Virginia are tied to the natural resources. The varied
natural resources in Virginia include soil, forests, minerals, water, wildlife, and
energy sources. We should conserve natural resources so they are available for
future generations.
Biblical Integration: Colossians 2:2-3 My goal is that they may be
encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full
riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the
mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures
of wisdom and knowledge.
