The Kadayawan Festival is an annual festival held in Davao City, Philippines every third week of August. It originated from the tradition of Davao's ethnic tribes converging during harvest times to display farming produce and give offerings in thanksgiving to gods for the year's abundance. Over time, this ritual evolved into an annual thanksgiving festival celebrating Davao's bountiful harvest of flowers, fruits, and other produce as well as the city's diverse culture.
