1990’s Chris, he/him
1990s Chris (he/him) is a queer working
class poet and writer, from Hereford,
England, specialising in film and audio. He
has performed at the Royal Albert Hall,
and the Eden Project as well as writing for
BBC sounds, and Channel 4 Random Acts.
His work hopes to start discussion around
masculinity, class, queer identity and
mental health.

I come from a very religious background and therapy was not

you're crazy, there's a lot of stigma

Addictions were the worst to handle because they were taught to Pray

his mum needed someone to talk to as well
I felt sorry for the Mom and the child.
Covid brought up alot of issues like this and more
I love it! I was a great representation of violence in the family and
the consequences
The dad needed a outlet of a mens group to help him cope with
his challenges
As a teacher, I see this kind of thing play out all the time
all ages too
More men are stepping up to show each other support. We need
to uplift our men

showing empathy and acknowledgement towards everyone else specially
those who ask for help. We can also help by teaching our own children
the importance of unity and equality throughout all human kind.
