The grandfather takes Toto on a train trip but he pops out of a bag, startling the ticket collector. Eventually, Toto's mischief becomes too much and the grandfather sells him back to the original tonga driver.

Phoenix Jackson makes a long journey through the woods and fields along a worn path to get to town. She encounters obstacles along the way like thorny bushes, fallen logs, and dead cornfields but persists due to her determination to get medicine for her sick grandson. The story is told from a third person limited perspective focusing on Phoenix's thoughts and feelings. Racism and love are themes in the story as Phoenix faces discrimination but continues her mission out of love for her grandson.

Jason led a group of heroes known as the Argonauts on a quest to retrieve the Golden Fleece from Colchis. The fleece was guarded by a dragon and held magical properties. Jason's uncle, King Pelias, had usurped Jason's father as king, so retrieving the fleece would help Jason reclaim his rightful throne. After many adventures including fighting harpies and the Stymphalian Birds, Jason succeeded in his quest with help from Medea, daughter of the King of Colchis, who fell in love with him.

The mouse wrote a simple song about friendship. When he sang it to a lion who was angry at being woken up, the song soothed the lion. Later, the mouse rescued the lion from being trapped in a net by chewing through the ropes. Example of Narrative Text
King Tapa Agung planned to make his daughter Purbasari the next queen, angering her sister Purbararang. Purbararang conspired with her fiancé Indrajaya to curse Purbasari with an ugly skin condition. Purbasari was exiled to the jungle, where she befriended the magical monkey Lutung Kasarung. Lutung Kasarung cured Purbasari and accompanied her back to the palace. Purbararang issued challenges to prove who should be queen, but Lutung Kasarung transformed into a handsome man and won the challenges for Purbasari, who was named queen.

Once upon a time there was a very evil and
unpleasant crook who only ever thought about how to get
money. Seeing anyone happy bothered the crook
enormously. What he hated most was when people were
polite and courteous to each other, saying things like
please and thank you, and don't mention it. It annoyed
him even more if they were smiling when they said these
things.
The crook thought all those kinds of words were a
useless waste, and weren't good for anything. So what
he did was spend a lot of time inventing a machine
which could steal words. With this machine, he
planned to steal 'please', 'thank you', 'don't mention
it', and similar words people used to be polite. He
was convinced that no one would notice if those words
were to suddenly disappear. When he had stolen these
words, he intended to take them apart and sell the
letters to book publishers.

- 6. • Complication: The cap seller had a sound sleep for one hour. When he got up, the first thing he did was to look into his bag. He was startled when he found all his caps were not there. When he looked up the sky, he was very surprised to see monkeys sitting on the branches of a tree, each of the monkeys is wearing a cap of on its head. They had evidently done it to imitate him. He decided to get his caps back by making a humble request to the monkeys. In return, the monkeys only made faces of him. When he begun to make gesture, the monkeys also imitated him.
- 7. • Resolution: At last he found a clever idea. " Monkeys are a great imitator," he thought. So he took off his own cap and threw it down on the ground. And as he had expected, all the monkeys took off the caps and threw the caps down on the ground. Quickly, he stood up and collected the caps, put them back into his bag and went away.
