2. My son finished his class 10. I faced a problem during his
admission to class 11. He was not sure what he wants to
study, which subjects to take. We were in confusion. He
was aiming for an engineering career. He was not sure
which branch of engineering he fits in. Wanted help from
experts. It was available, But we were supposed visit for
several times for tests and analysis. But we could not
synchronize the time of parents, visits and test time.
Therefore we took some decision. It is a decision in
confusion.
I came to know Mr. Gupta Who is an educationist also
faced similar problem and took an Aptitude tests for his
kid from Banjara Academy. Even though he is an
academician, he guides many students, he was also
opting for external help for proper assessment of his
son. This lead us to think about this problem.

3. We conducted a study to understand the depth of the
problem. Met parents, Teachers, Schools, Academicians &
Counselors. Found some interesting facts.
1. Most of the Students and Parents are facing similar problem. The
problem of getting in to right path after class 10.
2. Most of such decisions are taken in confusion. With no proper analysis.
3. Presently students are influenced by parents, teachers, elders, friends
and peers. Every one throws opinion and the student/parents takes a
decision in a confusion.
4. There is no system to analyze a child scientifically and guide.
5. There are some organizations and professionals providing solution. But
they are available in few cities and follow one to one approach.
Therefore most of the needy cannot access them.
6. Decision to choose the path after class 10 is very critical as it leads to
their career, job, profession and life.
7. Slightest error will harm student future. Wrong Decision is detrimental to
the student future. It needs to be taken with due diligence.

4. Available solution
There are some Institutions and organization who conducts an aptitude test and advise the
students about future path. This will give some amount of solution. But it is not a complete
solution.
Aptitude tests are more of IQ and strength related tests. It will not test and analyze the over all
personality of a child.
It is a solution available to a few urban students only. By and large most of the students don’t
have access to a such tests.
As a result millions of students are deprived of a proper assessment and guidance in the
country.
There is a dire need to have a system to address this problem.
Present Situation
Students are too young to take a decision as a result every one jumps
to counsel/guide a student.
Students are being counseled/guided/advised by
Parents, Teachers, Elders, Friends, Peers and others.
But none of the above have the required information, qualification,
experience and expertise to guide a student. Every one throws their
opinion. Most of these opinions are just a piece of advise based on their
experience, Every one gives various information and opinion.
Leaving the student in a state of confusion.
