5. Multi-year Teaching is synonymous to
Multi-level instruction. It is an approach
where teacher intentionally stays with the
same group of learners for more than a
year or in a key stage. Generally, when a
class moved to another grade, the teacher
looped to that grade level.
As an approach, it acknowledges diverse
learner characteristics within a rigorous
and outcome based standards school
system. (Inclusive Network of Schools,
2002)
