Summary:
Cisco provides products and services to various customers and also facilitates customers by
providing them discounts on various things. The discounts given to the customers are
monitored and the discounts need to adhere to the Wallstreet guidelines and follow other
compliances (VSOE), where Revenue Attributions are used. Also revenue transfer happens
between each entity in Cisco where revenue attributions comes into picture. This tool is mainly
used for Internal reporting in Cisco.
Responsibilities:
Managing End to End Production Support activities:
 Monitoring the MDM, EDW and EDM jobs (project specific ETL jobs) via Process
Manager and UNIX.
 Reporting and fixing failures/SLA miss and checking logs.
 Creating and scheduling jobs flow in SAS Management Console in PROD/DEV and STAGE.
 Deploying/re-deploying jobs in SAS DI studio.
 Configuring audit tables and handling adhoc loads manually.
 Generating reconciliation report for data validation of extract layer and target table
against source.
 Preparing daily stats/reports for higher management, to showcase how entire
architecture is performing.
 Automated reports using Eclipse required by client which reduced a lot of manual effort.
 Interacting with DBA team to fine tune long running jobs thus saving critical SLA time.
 Responsible for delivery of key feeds within the agreed SLA and 100% system
availability.
 Work closely with project teams on technical design issues.
 Participate in Quarterly releases through release documentation, deployment, setting
up and configuring environments.
 Incident management via BMC Remedy Tool.

Summary:
Cisco Order Management and Account Receivables (OMAR) project involves maintenance of its
core- ERP systems. This comprises of two Oracle E-Business Suite instances, working in tandem
across geographies to validate, book and invoice orders for Cisco’s customers. Being a part of
Cisco’s IT Delivery Services (ITDS) organization it is also governed by a fixed set of metrics and
processes which ensures the on-time delivery of a multitude of products and services keeping
in mind the health of the system. The project involves prioritizing, analysis and root causing of
issues within a stipulated time.
Responsibilities:
 Handled critical technical requirements of the customer and provided the solution with
work around and with related data fixes.
 Worked on Oracle Forms and Reports
 Technical and Functional assistance to the users.
 Monitoring alerts through mails and respond to the alerts depending on severity.
 Executed queries in Toad to resolve the errors.
 Raised cases based on errors to respective Teams for auto invoice using BMC Remedy.
 Monitor concurrent programs to prepare reports for Pricing.
 Prepared reports for concurrent programs, long running jobs, E2E and CDB alerts.
 Actively involved in month end & year-end closing activities with business users.
 Prepared Weekly Status Report using BO reports.
