VAMCC, established in 1969, aims to provide higher education to underprivileged communities in Bhavnagar, offering a variety of courses and resources including a library, sports facilities, and internet access. The college has made significant efforts in community service, such as organizing blood donation camps and providing financial assistance to female and economically disadvantaged students. Future plans include launching two new postgraduate courses and enhancing placement opportunities for students.

- 1. VAMCC AT AGLANCE 2015 (Established in 1969)

College History : •VAMCC started by veteran Gandhian followers in 1969 with 169 students and 4 full time lecturers and 4 visiting lecturers. • OBJECTIVES: – To cater needs of service class people and to motivate farm labor, poor people and workers to join college • The TRUST BKM has LAW, B.Ed. & VAMCC three Colleges, two High Schools, with the objective to cater academic need of poor and common people of Bhavnagar. All the colleges are running in the same premises. • LAW College building is ready in another premises. While High School has their own Premises.

- 7. Some Initiatives TakenBy VAMCC • Prayer: Every day in morning • Cleaniness Drive: By college once in a week • Blood Donation Camp. One blood donation camp in every Term/ Sem. ( There were three such camps in year 2014). • Books for Competitive Exams: For current and Ex Students. • Filling of Online Competitive Exam Form. • Training Classes for Preparing Competitive Exams.

Motivation for GirlsAnd For Weaker Sections • Different Financial Helps are Given to Girls Students By Staff and Trustees. • Trust is Committed To Render Higher Education to SC/ST/OBC/ and other General Weaker Classes. • Staff Take Responsibilities To Pay Fee of Students And Their Education Expanses If Students Are Of Poor Family. • There Are Many Such Students on Records Whose Parents Earn Rs. 1200 to 1500 Per Month.
- 9. Conferences and Seminars •College Organized two conferences (Of Three Days) in 2014 and 2015. Years in Collaboration with Eco. Dept. MKB Uni. Bhavnagar • A One Day Seminar was Arranged For Students For Preparation of Competitive Exams. • 5 Students of Arts Stream were Sent to Attend a Seminars at Shihor for a day. • A Seminar of Gujarati Subject was organized “Vidya Vichar Vistar Mala” - 2013-14. • One Day Seminar Cum Placement Drive was Organized By ICICI Bank that was attended by 120 Students from Bhavnagar. After test 15 Students were short listed.
- 10. MKBU SPORTS- AthleticMEET (2014) • Organized twice by VAMCC in last 8 Years. All colleges affiliated to MKB University take part in such meet. Nearly more then 500 Students, Referees, Coaches, National Level Players also become parts of such meet.

- 21. Special classes arearranged by VAMCC for Preparation of competitive exams related to SSC , UPSC, GPSC, RRB, GUJARAT POLICE and so forth. Experts are invited to guide students and moke exams are taken to make them familiar with the exam enviroment.
- 22. SCOPE: One batch passedout few years back , but after , there were many such centers opened in vicinity We Could not continue the centre as English Faculty got retired.
- 23. DEL ( DigitalEnglish Library) is not installed at VAMCC but shortly that will be available to students’ services as Rooms will be available once Law College will sift to its new Premises.
- 24. PRARTHANA : It ispossible to conduct in respective classes as mike system Installed in each room. VAMCC has no specious and special assembly room. Hnec national news ,State news, Gujarat quiz thought of the day in not possible for entire VAMCC assembly
- 25. Future Plan VAMCC isintended to start two PG courses for her students. M.Com. M.S.W. Apart from these VAMCC may go for computer courses that give placement opportunity of the students.
