Katie Enoch's magazine Screamer will be a 40-page horror genre publication distributed in North London. The £3.50 magazine will target teenagers as its primary audience with adults as secondary. It will advertise and review the latest horror film releases through behind-the-scenes features, actor interviews, quotes and reviews. The magazine will utilize a dark color scheme of red, black, grey and white and feature bleeding images across pages. It will be marketed through social media platforms and distributed locally for purchase. The monthly budget and personnel needs include a photographer, editor, social media manager and more.

Yet, the online version differs from the printed version - same content but extra features
Cinemas which are showing the films could be encouraged to pay for advertising. Crucially, there would be bonus
content available to those who subscribe to the online platform. There could even be an option to view online the
print magazine in a page-flipping fashion

The title of the magazine will be in large, bold letters to promote my magazine brand as it will be
eye-catching. As well as this, my title will be in a dark red colour. This connotes blood, danger and

This serif font will be used for the title because the serifs make it clear and easily readable. As well

I have decided to use the sans serif font again in my magazine and this will be for the body copy
font. This specific font is intended to be neat and clear to read - especially because this is what the
majority of the font will be for the magazine. The font also looks sophisticated and professional.

recurring colours of red, black, white and
grey to symbolise the horror genre. Films,
actors and scenes are in my horror genre

content involved within my film magazine.

A similar horror film magazine to mine is based in the United
States - it is called Fangoria. The content available inside the
magazine are interviews with horror filmmakers and exclusive
behind the scene stories and photo's.
Another example of magazines in competition to mine is Empire
magazine - located in London. Empire magazine is based around
all the lastest film reviews and exclusive interviews with actors
and directors.
