1. My locations, mise en scene

2. This location is in a park, where they are sat on a bench shown from a
mid two shot, where one of the girls is sat with her legs resting on the
other girl, with there hands resting on each other. This represents a
romantic close relationship. They are wearing causal clothing, such as
jeans and a baggy shirt and a coat. This suggests they may be
working/middle class. The location represents a quiet area, where they
go to chill out together. This image is shown in high key lighting, which
connotes a happy positive atmosphere which reflects their relationship
status in this scene.
This image is shown from a long shot view to show more of the
surrounding location, and it shows both characters looking at each
other. The girl on the left is dressed causal but classy, as she is
wearing jeans and a smart jacket with dangly silver earing which
suggests she's more girly, where as the girl on the right looks more
hippie, and more causal as she is wearing baggy flowy trousers and a
baggy denim jacket, which implies she's less sophisticated and more
tomboy. The location indicates somewhere to hang out together and
to have fun. This image is shown in high key lighting as we have put a
purple tint effect on it.

3. This image is shown from a deep shot. This deep shot has Charlie
one of the main characters in the foreground and people forms
school in the background, who are giving her evils. This shows the
audience that the girl in the foreground has more importance than
the girls in the background. The location of the school canteen
represents a vulnerable place to feel insecure and get people
saying horrible things to you as you are surrounded by a lot of
people. Their clothing represents causal teenage clothing and the
lighting is high key lighting, which is supposed to represent a happy
atmosphere, but by the facial expressions of the girl in the
foreground implies she is feeling down and upset.
Both of these images use the use of a bathroom. The first image is
shown from a close up high angle shot to focus on the pills and the
second image is shown from a birds eye view looking down on her.
The use of the bathroom represents somewhere you can go to lock
yourself away, for example in the top picture she is pouring pills into
her hand which implies she has suicidal thoughts, and the bottom
image shows her locking her self away from all the hate she's getting
at school. Her body position which her head in her hands implies she
is upset or crying. The lighting is high key lighting. We wanted to make
more of a darker lighting effect to represent a negative mood
however we couldn’t change the lighting at school.

4. This image is shown from a high angle shot looking down on
the girl sat on her bed on her computer, receiving horrible
messages. The location of her bedroom indicates somewhere
she can go to be alone and have some space. The lighting used
is high key lighting as the source of light is coming from
outdoors which is natural lighting. However the dark tone of
the room indicates a negative dull mood.
This image is shown from a mid shot. This location
indicates a public area, as you can faintly see houses and
cars in the background which represents a public appeal
for help. The lighting is in the dark but a flash light was
put on the poster to make it visible for the audience to
see. The dark background creates a dull, tense spooky
background which suggests something bad has
happened.
