Her career included positions as a life skills teacher, group home supervisor, vice president of programs for a child welfare organization, and CEO of a nonprofit for 15 years until her retirement in 2011. She now teaches and is a partner in a water and waste control company. In her free time, she enjoys ballroom dancing with her husband, traveling, hiking, and reading. 3. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

I began my career working for an organization where I taught life skills to developmentally delayed adults in a
community living facility. I left this organization to spend seven years as a houseparent and supervisor of a
group home for teen aged girls. I was promoted several times during my employment with this organization
and eventually became Vice President of Programs overseeing the organization’s child welfare programs. After
13 years of service I was recruited away to become the Chief Executive Officer for a multi-service organization in
a suburb of Chicago. I retired from this position and nonprofit work in December of 2011 after 15 years in this
position. I currently teach and am a silent partner in a LLC for a company that provides water and waste water
controls for municipalities. I provide consultation to profit and not for profit organizations.

4. INTERESTS AND HOBBIES
I am an avid ballroom and latin dancer as is my husband. The first picture is our daughter who has been
dancing since she was 10. She currently dances as a professional in the Smooth division. I also love traveling
especially on a cruise. The next photo is from a 2018 cruise. Hiking and walking are a passion of mine. I aim to
hike or walk 8 miles daily. And I do LOVE reading.
