1. Preservation and conservation of library documents:
a UNESCO / IFLA / ICA inquiry into the current state of
the world's patrimony
2. Deterioration and preservation of library materials.
3. Preservation of library resources :administrative
support and library management practices
( Fayo, Amphy Mae I.)
Prerequisites: None
Course Description: This subject is an introduction on preservation of
information resources in the library such as printed
and online materials.
Learning Outcomes:
1. Understand the concept of Deterioration;
2. Understand the methods of preservation of library
materials
3. Understand the preservation and conservation
programs of the libraries
4. Use materials that are needed in information resources
preservation
