JOB RESPONSIBILITY
☻PRE-SHIPMENT ACTIVITIES:
→ Examine of customer‘s Purchase Order / Letter of Credit.
→ Obtain clarifications from marketing pertain to Shipping marks, labels, packing & special instruction
advised by the customer.
→ Send “DISPATCH INSTRUCTION” to Store, production and QC department for readiness of material.
→ Floating ocean freight inquiry to freight forwarders, prepare freight comparison sheet & arrange for
approval from Purchase Committee/Unit Head.

→ Ensure safe Loading in terms of packing, labeling, marking, etc. Also signed export check-list.
Coordination with QC / QA Department for Sampling of Finish Goods & Certificate of Analysis.
→ Co-ordination with nominated freight forwarder for Delivery orders with hazardous approval from
shipping line. Also organize container stuffing as per vessel schedule.
→ Preparation of pre-shipment documents for customs clearance. Liaison with the CHA/Assessing
Custom Officer for Container clearances
→ arranging third party inspection from nominated agency (like SGS or any other) & get satisfactory
report from them.
→ Keep photographs of each & every consignments at the time of stuffing for recknor.
→ Communicate container stuffing information to CHA and forwarder for necessary action.
→ Chase with the CHA & transporter after stuffing of the container from plant.
☻POST-SHIPMENT ACTIVITIES:
→ Arrangement of shipped on board, switch, Telex and receive for shipment Bill of Lading after
shipment.
→ Preparation of Post-shipment documents for clearance of cargo at destination port.
o WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT AND SUPPLY CHAIN
→ Responsible for the following aspects of the supply chain: sourcing, purchasing, transport,
warehousing and distribution. Also involved in identifying and implementing initiatives to reduce the
overall supply chain cost base.
→ Accountability of finished goods Receipt, Storage, dispatches.
→ Supervising the maintenance of the all type of records and documents of statutory and regulatory
audit.
→ Day to day follow up with export marketing, logistics, QA/QC and production for availability of
Export/Domestic products and arrange to dispatches as per customer’s requirement.
→ Maintenance of inventory, near expiry, non-moving finished goods.
→ Control of man power and utilization properly.
→ “ARC” for transportation for domestic and Export supply.
 EXCISE REBATE
→ Coordination with CHA and timely release of customs documents (EP copy, B/L, Mate receipt, etc) for
submission of rebate claim from rebate authority.
→ Preparation and submissionof rebate application in prescribed format within time frame.
→ Regular liaison with rebate authority for release of rebate claim.

→ Maintain monthly MIS.
