This document provides instructions for two tasks related to music synesthesia. In the first task, participants will listen to 30-second clips of six songs and predict the musical genre, style (narrative, performance, or disjuncture), narrative if any, and mise-en-scene for each song's accompanying music video. In the second task, participants will listen to the same song clips again while seeing actual still images from the music videos and must identify which images belong to each song, explaining their answers.

You will hear 30 seconds from a selection of songs,
your task is to predict the style of music video
which would accompany it.
Identify the musical genre
Predict whether it is narrative, performance or
disjuncture.
Predict the ‘narrative’ e.g. Boy and girl, relationship
Predict the mise en scene

3. Task 2
You will now hear the same 5 songs once more,
this time you will see accompanying images
from the actual video, you need to identify
which images belong to the songs. You must
explain your answers
