MUSICAL GENRES
There are many types of music, we listen to music many times a day
even if we don’t do it with consciousness, so we have to classify this
music in different groups, this groups are called genres, genres classify
music depending on similar characteristics or on their functions.
VOCAL GENRE
Vocal music is a genre of music
performed by one or more singers,
with or without instrumental
accompaniment, in which singing
provides the main focus of the
piece.
Music without any non-vocal
instrumental accompaniment is
referred to as a cappella.
