VOCAL GENRE
Vocal genre is a type of music performed by one or more singers,
vocal genre is probably the oldest form of music, since it does not
require any instrument besides the human voice. All musical cultures
have some form of vocal music. There are two types:
COMBINED WITH INSTRUMENTS: this genre applies to music that
requires instruments and of course the voids. This is most of the
music that we listen
A CAPELLA: the way to create music through the human voice. I
think that music a Capella is very difficult because you have to
generate sounds, rhythm, melody and harmony necessary without any
musical instrument, only whit your voice

INSTRUMENTAL GANRE
Instrumental genre is a musical composition or recording without
lyrics, or singing, although it might include some inarticulate vocal
input; the music is exclusively produced by musical instruments.
There are two types of instrumental music:
PURE MUSIC: this genre applies to music that is composed to be
played as music and nothing else
DESCRIPTIVE MUSIC: this genre refers to music that represents
extra-musical contexts that are not directly related to music
ONLY INSTRUMENTS
RELIGIOUS GENRE
Religious music is music performed or composed for religious use or
through religious influence.
LITURGICAL MUSIC: Liturgical music originated as a part of
religious ceremony, and includes a number of traditions, both ancient
and modern.
NON-LITURGICAL MUSIC: music of a religious character
composed for a purpose but witch is not part of liturgy , like for
example a funeral
PROFANE GENRE
profane genre is the music that has non religious porpoise. There are
two types:
POPULAR MUSIC: The term popular music belongs to any of a
number of musical genres and typically distributed to large audiences
through the music industry. It can be divided into
Folk music (includes both traditional music and the genre that
evolved from it during the 20th century folk revival. The term
originated in the 19th century but is often applied to music that is
older than that. Some types of folk music are also called world music)
and light music (Light music is a generic term applied to a mainly
British musical style of "light" orchestral music, which originated in
the 19th century and continues until the present day. Its heyday
occurred during the mid 20th century)‑
CULTURED MUSIC: this music reflects the cultural context of the time
and the composers personal thoughts
FUNCTIONAL GENRE
Functional genre is the music
serves as a backdrop to important
events, like for example the
Olympic hymn
Is the background music is a major event
CINEMATOGRAPHIC GENRE
Cinematographic genre is the music used in films, it upgrades the
emotions in the script, it makes the film better and it makes it more
intense
There are no films without this music. I think the movies without
music would not be the same, for example , if it is a moment in the
movie happy or sad you put a music that matches and is much better
THEATRE GENRE
Theatre genre is the music used in artistic expresions performed in a
stage, like in plays, operas, zarzuelas, musicals, ballet and dance.
It accompanies an act and it makes them better just like
cinematographic music does in films
opera
zarzuela
