Video Title: Bakermat – One Day
VIDEO AUDIO
LYRICS / NARRATION / MUSIC / FX
1. 0:00 – 0:30 – Begins with a CU shot
of children’s faces with a blank
looking expression. Then does
singular CU shots on each child’s
face as they pull different facial
expressions. Then a TS is used
behind them as they walk forward.
0:00 – 0:30 – One Day – Bakermat
The lyrics at the beginning of
the song start with Martin
Luther King’s “I Have a Dream”
speech. “I have a dream, That
one day, this nation will rise
up. Live out the true meaning of
its creed. We hold these truths
to be self-evident, that all men
are created equal. I have a
dream.” The types of shots
during this 30 second period
will include a group of
children, boys and girls,
staring at the camera with
vacant expressions as the
buildup of the music itself is
occurring. When the music
begins, there are separate shots
of each child pulling different
facial expressions. A tracking
shot is then used to make it
look as though the group of
children are taking the viewer’s
somewhere. The FX used are
simple but with a high contrast
to expose colors brightly.
CU – Close up
TS – Tracking shot
MS – Medium shot
CS – Cutting shot
LS – Long shot
