1. 0:00 – 0:30 – PS of a gym which
includes a boxing ring, weights and
gym equipment. Cuts to LS of the
back of a man with his hood up
waking up a flight of stairs from a
Low angle shot and then cuts to a
CU of the man’s face looking
focused and determined taking his
hood down and entering the gym as
the door shuts.
0:00 – 0:30 – Robert Miles –
Children (Power Remix).
The first 30seconds of the song,
the tempo and rhythm will be
upbeat but slower than
throughout the rest of the song
because as our music video will
be a narrative we want the pace
to continuously increase
creating suspense for the
audience.
2. 0:30 – 1:00 – There will be an ExLS
of the guy walking towards the
changing room which then fades to a
MS the man walking out of the
changing room ready and in his gym
clothes. ExCU of the man rapping
his hands up in hand wraps getting
ready to start punching. As the
beat of the song gets faster It
will show the main guy warming up,
starting off with a LS of the guy
skipping and as beat gets faster
and loud he will go faster and do
more tricks with the skipping rope.
0:30 – 1:00 – Robert Miles –
Children (Power Remix).
For the start of this scene, the
pace of the music is still
slower than usually, however, as
it hits around 50seconds, the
tempo increases and the rhythm
of the song picks up. This is
when the tune of the music video
kicks in and gets a lot more
active.
3. 1:00 – 1:30 – This will fade into a
CU in an Ariel Shot angle to the
guy on a speedball which will be
going at a fast speed. This will
then Zoom out and do a LS of the
other people in the gym working
out. Cutting to a MS of someone
squatting, an ExCU of someone doing
jumping jacks (Burpees).
1:00 – 1:30 – Robert Miles –
Children (Power Remix).
When the tune of the music video
has kicked in, this is when it
is noticeable for the audience
what song it is as there is many
remix’s and versions of this
specific song.

4. 1:30 – 2:00 – Carrying on from that
there will be a low angle shot of
someone doing sit ups and then LS
of someone doing press ups. There
will be an ExCU of a coach shouting
in someone’s face as they are
trying there hardest with sweat
pouring off their face. That will
then lead to this person working on
a punch bag on their own hitting
this as hard as they can this will
be shown in both MS and CU.
1:30 – 2:00 – Robert Miles –
Children (Power Remix).
The beat of the song in this
scene is upbeat and chirpy
throughout. The rhythm stays the
same right up until the end
where it fades out and it
becomes obvious the tempo is due
to slow down again.
5. 2:00 – 2:30 – LS Both people sat in
the ring getting padded up getting
ready to spar with each other. CU
of him putting his gum shield in
his mouth. ExCU of both of them
fastening there gloves or shin pads
and then slowly fades to both men
touching gloves as a CU to begin.
MS of a clock with a timer of 1
minute.
2:00 – 2:30 – Robert Miles –
Children (Power Remix).
At this point of the music
video, the key sound track fades
out and you hear the same upbeat
but calmer pace tempo as you do
at the very beginning of the
song.
6. 2:30 – 3:00 – LS of 2 men sparring
in the ring. ExCU of one hitting
the other man in the head (Slow
Mo). LS of a man kicking and the
other man catching him and sweeping
his feet from under him. Cuts to an
MS ‘00:30’ seconds on the timer,
ExLS of both men battling each
other until the timer goes off.
2:30 – 3:00 – Robert Miles –
Children (Power Remix).
“ “
Towards the very end of this
30second segment, the song
appears a little bit more upbeat
as the pace and rhythm of the
song slightly increases.
7. 3:00 – 3:30 – (END SHOT) MS The
main person packing up, CU of him
putting his hoodie back on. Cutting
to a LS and a Pan Shot of him
leaving the gym and then an ExLS of
the door shutting behind him.
3:00 – 3:30 – Robert Miles –
Children (Power Remix).
Here there is a very continuous
fast tempo however it is played
at a very slow pace. With it
being a remix, it is easy to see
that things might have been sped
up or slowed down to manually
throughout the editing process.
At the end the music fades out.
