0:00 – 0:30 – Robert Miles –
Children (Power Remix).
The first 30seconds of the song,
the tempo and rhythm will be
upbeat but slower than throughout
the rest of the song because as
our music video will be a
narrative we want the pace to
continuously increase creating
suspense for the audience.
2. 0:30 – 1:00 – CS of the boxer’s
hands and arms as he attacks the
speedball at an intense pace. TS of
the boxer and instructor doing pad
work. LS of the boxer skipping slow
but picking up the speed. ExCU of
the boxers eyes to show his
determination and the intensity of
the training session.
0:30 – 1:00 – Robert Miles –
Children (Power Remix).
For the start of this scene, the
pace of the music is still slower
than usually, however, as it hits
around 50seconds, the tempo
increases and the rhythm of the
song picks up. This is when the
tune of the music video kicks in
and gets a lot more active.
3. 1:00 – 1:30 –WS of a room full of
people doing different exercises
squatting, burpees, press ups, sit
ups etc. CS of the boxer putting on
his hand wraps getting ready to
start sparring. MS of the boxer
kicking and punching the punch bag
showing his anger and courage
towards his training. ZOOM into an
ExCU shot of the sweat dripping
down the boxers face into his
eyebrows.
1:00 – 1:30 – Robert Miles –
Children (Power Remix).
When the tune of the music video
has kicked in, this is when it is
noticeable for the audience what
song it is as there is many
remix’s and versions of this
specific song.
4. 1:30 – 2:00 –TS of the boxer and
his partner training with the
medicine balls. LS of the boxer
lifting the weights and his partner
spotting him for safety. ES of all
the weights lined up panning from
left to right. CU shot of the boxer
lifting the heaviest weights
showing he has good power and
strength.
1:30 – 2:00 – Robert Miles –
Children (Power Remix).
The beat of the song in this scene
is upbeat and chirpy throughout.
The rhythm stays the same right up
until the end where it fades out
and it becomes obvious the tempo
is due to slow down again.

the key sound track fades out and
you hear the same upbeat but
calmer pace tempo as you do at the
very beginning of the song.

being weighed on the scales by the

the component.
2:30 – 3:00 – Robert Miles –

Towards the very end of this
30second segment, the song appears
a little bit more upbeat as the
pace and rhythm of the song
slightly increases.
7. 3:00 – 3:30 – LS of both boxers

the boxer to show his anger and
emotion towards the fight.
3:00 – 3:30 – Robert Miles –
Children (Power Remix).
Here there is a very continuous
fast tempo however it is played at
a very slow pace. With it being a
remix, it is easy to see that
things might have been sped up or
slowed down to manually throughout
the editing process.
8. CU of the component being struck in
the face by a powerful punch from
the boxer. WS of the ring
containing the component going
dizzy but trying to kick his way to
the finish. MS of the boxer
catching his leg and sweeping the
component of his feet with this
technique. CU of the component K.O
on the floor.
3:30 – 4:00 – Robert Miles –
Children (Power Remix).
Again there is a very continuous
fast tempo however it is played at
a very slow pace. With it being a
remix, it is easy to see that
things might have been sped up or
slowed down to manually throughout
the editing process. As the fight
becomes to an end the rhythm calms
down.
9. PS of the boxer getting out the
ring and walking into the changing
rooms. LS of the boxer sat down
with his eyes closed whilst looking
up to god and shaking his legs to
show his nerves. MS of the boxer
putting his hoodie back on and
picking up his bag. CU of the boxer
putting his hood back up and
walking out of the gym showing his
training session is over.
4:00 – 4:30 – Robert Miles –
Children (Power Remix).
The continuous fast tempo carries
on however it is played at a very
slow pace. With it being a remix,
it is easy to see that things
might have been sped up or slowed
down to manually throughout the
editing process. At the end the
music fades out.
