This document provides guidance for an exercise on freelancing in the music industry. Students will create an information booklet about four music-related freelance job roles including skills required, salary, benefits and qualifications. Additionally, students will conduct a role play radio interview discussing freelancing in the music industry. Roles will include a host, two music industry experts, and two callers. The radio interview format is outlined with introductions, question and answer sections, and closing comments over the course of 15 minutes.
