Suomen eOppimiskeskus ry aloitti yhteistyössä Aalto-yliopiston, Hämeen ammattikorkeakoulun ja Otavan Opiston kanssa lokakuussa 2012 Työelämä oppimisympäristönä (TYYNE) -selvityshankkeen. Selvitys on tehty osana Opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriön hallinnoimaa ja Lapin Elinkeino-, liikenne ja ympäristökeskuksen rahoittamaa Manner-Suomen ESR-ohjelman valtakunnallisen osion toimintalinja 3:n ”Työmarkkinoiden toimintaa edistävien osaamis-, innovaatio- ja palvelujärjestelmien kehittämisen toimintalinjaa” ja sen osana olevaa ”Avoimissa oppimisympäristöissä aktiiviseksi kansalaiseksi” -kehittämisohjelmaa 1.9.2012-31.5.2013 välisenä aikana.
TYYNE-selvityshanke koostaa asiantuntijapaneeleilla, kirjallisuuskatsauksella ja esiselvityksellä tietämystä työssä ja työn ohessa tapahtuvan oppimisen ja yhteisöllisen tekemisen mahdollisuuksista muuttuvissa työympäristöissä ja liikkuvassa työssä. Näillä osallistavilla työtavoilla tuotetaan arvioitua ja validoitua tietämystä tulevista trendeistä ja kehityssuunnista.
